I am here to be your guide on your journey. It may help to know something about my journey.

We are interdependent with those around us. Choose yours wisely.

I wanted to be a doctor since I was in elementary school. I have noble ideations of impacting others' lives in a deep and meaningful way. Health is a basic human need and desire. It is basic and yet complex. It is rooted in science but affected by humanity. It is the juxtaposition of what we can understand and control and what we can't (so far). We have so much power and yet are powerless at times .

I went straight through school, skipping my senior year of high school, completing college in 3 and a half years, and earning my medical degree when I was I was 25 years old. I am grateful for what I do.

I worked as a hospitalist, then in primary care for 10 years. In 2014, I quit my institution job to found my own solo private practice treating obesity. I was frustrated with the status quo of healthcare that was not making anyone healthier. I was driven by the patients with whom I had the privilege of working. Each and every story inspired me and drove me harder.

I am here to be your steadfast supporter and guide, without expectation and without judgement. Lean on me. I am strong and have listened to and learned from many, many  strong, insightful, wise, and authentic people who have walked before us and with us. It is an honor and a privilege to pass it forward. I thank you in advance on my behalf and on behalf of those to follow you for engaging in this quest for not only physical, but mental and spiritual health as well.
